C’est une alternative naturelle et sûre au rétinol (vitamine A), extrait 100% végétal de la plante Babchi. Il confère les avantages du rétinol, mais sans les problèmes de
sécurité que le rétinol a. L’un de ses grands avantages est sa photostabilité qui le
rend adapté aux applications de jour.
Le bakuchiol est un ingrédient actif dérivé de Psoralea corylifolia (graines de babchi) et est différent de l’huile entière qui est également disponible sur le marché sous forme d’huile de bakuchi (ou babchi).
Il s’agit d’un ingrédient lipophile de couleur jaune à brune, le Bakuchiol est connu pour améliorer le mécanisme de défense naturel de la peau contre le stress oxydatif. Il diminue également les facteurs inflammatoires qui perturbent les mécanismes de protection naturels de la peau et aide à améliorer la synthèse du collagène. Il est également très important pour aider la peau à activer les gènes anti-âge.

Taux d’utilisation: 3,0 – 10% (10% de la solution équivaut à 1% de bakuchiol pur. Ne pas dépasser 10%).
Stabilité du pH: 3,5 – 6,5
Autres considérations relatives à la stabilité et à l’efficacité : Évitez tout contact avec le fer et le cuivre. Ajouter de l’EDTA (0,1-0,2%) ou du phytate de sodium (0,1-0,2%) pour prévenir la détérioration causée par les ions métalliques. Utiliser avec un amplificateur de pénétration (par exemple Epidev (Dimethyl Isorsobide), Propanediol, ou Azone) pour augmenter l’efficacité. Les produits finis doivent être distribués dans des emballages sombres.
Apparence: Liquide huileux.
Entreposage : Conserver dans un contenant hermétique et sombre dans une atmosphère fraîche.
